You don’t need to have an instrument to play. Your opponent can use a printable Game Board. This is a fun way for parents to join in. The game has 18 spaces (4 frets = on space ). Play the printable board down, up, and down again to equal the same amount.

If the card says 2, move up to sets (one set is all four fingers) of the spider exercise. Play until the first person returns to the first fret. If you both get back but have remaining moves? Whoever has the most remaining moves wins. Here are a few fun rules to make the game interesting.

If you draw a………..

Play 1 set (one set is all four fingers). The opponent goes back two sets. 1’s will continue to add up for example. Suppose you draw a 1 on your next turn. Go 2 sets. Your opponent goes back 2 sets again. Suppose you draw 1 on the following turn. Go 3 sets. Your opponent goes back 2 sets. This pattern will continue if you keep drawing a 1.

Play 2 sets. If you draw another on your next turn you can play 4 sets or have your opponent go back 4 sets.

Play 3 sets. If you draw another one in a row, play 6 sets

Winner Takes All

If you draw 2, 3, 4, or 4, 3, 2 You can attempt to play at a steady tempo up and down the whole neck. Winning the game! However, if you mess up you have to start back at the beginning
